SAN DIEGO, CA, CEDIA Booth 4654 – MuxLab introduces CEDIA attendees to two new audio extraction devices aimed at simplifying integration between dedicated audio equipment and 4K displays. Both solutions function as a hub that extracts digital and analog audio from an HDMI signal to be sent to digital and analog receiver inputs using a single HDMI input on an AV source.
The HDMI to HDMI with Audio Extraction, 4K/60 (model 500436) provides one HDMI input/output that connects an AV source to its display, supporting 4K@60Hz on the output with 8-bit color and HD audio. Digital audio is extracted from Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Digital Plus and Atmos formats and delivered via a TosLink port. LPCM audio is extracted and delivered as two-channel analog audio via a 3.5mm audio port.
The HDMI Audio Extractor with Dolby & DTS Downmixer (model 500439) provides one HDMI input/output that connects an AV source to its display, supporting 4K@60Hz. Audio is extracted from Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, DTS-HD Master Audio or LPCM up to 7.1 channels and is down-mixed to two-channel analog audio via RCA L/R jacks.
